Two chairs invite visitors to sit. One of the stools is equip-ped with contact microphones, which pick up the sounds arising when someone sits down. These acoustic signals are amplified and transmitted in real time to the other chair. Through inbuilt exciters, the receiving chair itself becomes a loudspeaker, whose vibrations can be both heard and felt. A subtle chair-to-chair communication can be initiated by even the slightest movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
